Lab Report — Feb 28th
I am not even going to front here,,, I need a hiatus. I am running laps around my own brain right now overthinking absolutely anything and everything. Yesterday I lost $100 to the book to put me down $200 on the week. It is going to be an absolute bloodbath battling back today to probably just end up going 50% and paying the book $205.
I was genuinely pondering the idea of starting the hiatus today, but what kind of man would I be if I didn’t at least ATTEMPT a comeback on Sunday? A fraudulent coward that is exactly the kind of man I would be. But like I said… I’m down bad so it is a fade day for the readers of the Lab Report.
I am taking the night off of the NHL & NBA as I need my card kissed by the Lord himself to win bets. I have two CBB picks, and one of them being the Wizard POTD (6–7).
This guy, the “Wizard”… (Click link to find out who he is) is the biggest clown in the industry. Get this… He is like 3–6 on picks this week and I get this text message this morning.
This guy is the worst man… Literally a clown acting like it isn’t 8 o’clock somewhere. So I call this lunatic and the guy opens with a great line, “How much money can you throw on the pick today?” I say ummm “…like $50” (being the responsible gambler that I am only having 5u max plays). This guy then proceeds to tell me that his pick is a $2000 pick… All I am thinking right now is how that is a 200% increase in a unit (not responsible), this guy has burned me over and over, asked me what my units were before I started getting picks…
I am in an absolute box right now. I have officially caved to the Wizard. This guy says he is going to make me a grand… This is the exact moment where he can say that we are up a grand and he can stop giving me picks… I am telling you… I GOT SCAMMED. I knew it would end like this, but all good things must come to an end.
Ohio St. -3.5(1.1u)(-110), -3(2.75u)(-110) — This mother fkr. I am so mad that I actually like his $2000 play… Such a suckbag.
Michigan St. +2 (-110)(1.1u) — We are a single day away from March (Izzo as Jon Rothstein puts it), and Sparty is storming the gates.
